This isolating barrier deters animal contact with energized equipment by providing a boundary around bushings and insulators, forcing animals to move around the blockade. Available in 16″ (40.6 cm) or 20″ (50.8 cm) diameters, the inner tabs are clearly marked to allow linemen to easily trim for a secure fit on any size bushing or insulator 1.75″ – 6″ (4.4 cm – 15.2 cm). This barrier-style shield is appropriate for all distribution systems and can address high voltage bushings and adjacent arrestor bushings. Built to sustain extreme climate and UV conditions, and it does not become brittle in freezing temperatures. Material is a V-0 flame retardant polymer.
