Insulator + conductor covers

Power Line Sentry’s insulator covers include both rigid sleeves and the industry’s only flexible sleeve insulator covers, designed to protect energized infrastructure from phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground contact events. Compliant with APLIC-recommended standards, each cover is manufactured from UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant silicone that resists degradation from UV exposure, ozone, moisture, and other environmental hazards.

Our covers are engineered for field performance across all system types - supporting horizontal and vertical configurations with universal compatibility across insulator styles. Each product provides a minimum of 72 inches of continuous coverage, exceeding the 60-inch federal minimum for effective insulation and wildlife protection. As noted in the Caribbean Journal of Ornithology, Power Line Sentry’s designs are recognized for their superior durability and proven effectiveness in real-world utility applications.

Our rigid sleeves offer a precise, snap-lock fit for stable configurations, while our Rip Stop™ flexible sleeve is the only one of its kind - tear-resistant, hotstickable, and fully pliable in extreme temperatures. The one-piece flexible cover wraps seamlessly around bends and irregular geometries, eliminating gaps and ensuring a continuous barrier against electrical contact.
